Selection Process

The selection process depends on the post. Record Assistant candidates face a written test, computer practical test and interview. Office Subordinate candidates face a written test and interview.

For Record Assistant, the written test carries 55 marks, the computer practical test carries 20 marks and the interview carries 25 marks. The written test follows the Andhra Pradesh SSC/10th Class standard, while the computer test checks practical knowledge of MS Office.

For Office Subordinate, the written test carries 75 marks and the interview carries 25 marks. The written examination covers Telugu, English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Social Studies.

For Cook, Dhobi, Barber, Sweeper and Scavenger posts, the Read & Write Test carries 15 marks, the Skill Test carries 60 marks and the Interview carries 25 marks.

The skill tests are practical in nature. For example, the Cook test includes food preparation, taste and quality, cooking methods, hygiene and kitchen-equipment handling. The Barber test covers hair cutting, shaving and trimming, tool maintenance and hygiene.
