Job Responsibilities

The Security Officer will:

• Investigate theft, accidents, or sabotage cases.
• Work 24×7 as needed and respond to emergencies.

Selection Process

   • Paper-II: Subjective, covering Comprehension, Report Writing, Security Regulations, and General Awareness (2 hours, 35% threshold).
3. Final Merit List: Based on Paper-II performance for candidates meeting the threshold.

Pay Matrix Level-7: Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400 (approx. Rs. 44,900 basic + DA, HRA, TA as admissible in Roorkee). Additional benefits include medical reimbursement, LTC, and advances as per CSIR rules.
